Skiing

Boasting one of the highest skiable points in Europe at 3,300m above sea level, Sierra Nevada ensures reliable snow conditions throughout its long ski season, which typically runs from late November to early May. The resort features a vertical drop of 1,200 meters and a vast skiable area of 110 kms, spread across 131 pistes catering to all skill levels. Taking advantage of the ski season, we recommend this school, one of the oldest in Sierra Nevada. In addition to offering fantastic courses for the little ones, they provide equipment rental services and, if you wish, can arrange the purchase of ski passes to help you avoid long queues.

If you don’t want to ski, however, Sierra Nevada still holds a great attraction. From cosy mountain lodges to child-friendly adventures, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy the area all year round.

Discover Nature Trails

The Sierra Nevada National Park is a haven for nature lovers. Families can enjoy several gentle hiking trails perfect for kids, such as the Fuente Alta trail, which offers stunning views and a relatively easy route. Jardin Alpino
